Superior stone property with panoramic views over the river, beautiful pool and gardens. Lot of charm and abundance of serenity, just a short stroll away from Sarlat.
The property is set in a U shape
Main house

The main house’s entrance leads into a spacious open plan living room, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated with sofa and armchairs and a dining room area. The living room has retained many of the original features with exposed stone walls and beams, original wooden floor and a large open fireplace.
French window from the living room leads into a good size fitted kitchen, well equipped with hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher. The range of crockery, glass, cutlery and cooking utensils is very generous.
Also on the ground floor is a small bathroom with bath and sink and separate toilet.
Upstairs, are the three bedrooms, a large double with valley view, and two smaller twins
There is also a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Cot and highchair are available on request.
The laundry room, with washing machine, dryer and a small freezer is set in an adjacent stone building, and offers also a toilet.
Guests bedroom :

Off the upper courtyard is an attractively decorated guests bedroom incorporating an original stone sink, separate from the main part of the house. It has 2 single beds which can be joined together as a king size bed. It has an en-suite shower and wc.
"Maison au toit de lauzes"

Few more stone steps lead to the “maison au toit de lauze” which consists of a very large open plan living, with exposed stone and beams and a huge original open fireplace. It is used as a games room for kids or as a TV salon. Also it offers a large double bed which can accommodate another two guests. From its terrace, you have breathtaking views of the Dordogne valley.
Outdoor:

Outside the large swimming pool (12x6m) with its paved surround takes also full advantage of the view. It is fenced and have a electric cover to keep it warm.
The mature garden also enjoys the country view and offers the best of both worlds - a shady terrace to relax and dine with areas in full sunshine.

| Wat een gezellig, sfeervol Frans huis! Met ruime slaapkamers, en genoeg ruimte om binnen te kunnen vertoeven met zijn allen! Prettig is dat er in huis ook aan vanalles is gedacht, bijv o.a lucifers, wc papier, föhn en wat spelletjes. Ook de tuin is mooi en groot met verschillende zitjes, waar je gezellig kunt eten, lezen of een spelletje kunt doen. Het huis ligt tegen een berg met een mooi uitzicht over de Dordogne en ‘ s avonds genieten van de ondergaande zon! Er is een zwembad aanwezig met ligstoelen. Communicatie met Sabine verliep goed en was prettig. Wij hebben genoten van een heerlijke tijd in echte Franse sferen! Aanrader! |

| A wonderful property, well equipped, a nice layout of buildings; there were 8 of us and always felt like we had a lot of room. Amazing views from the large terrace and awesome pool, peaceful and beautiful, and a great location for exploring the area. Sabine, our host, was great to deal with, always on hand to help. We had a delightful holiday. |
| L’endroit est magnifique!! La piscine est très agréables, surtout en canicule fin juillet (prévoir des serviettes pour la piscine). Assez de place pour un groupe (nous étions 10), et il y a tout ce qu’il faut : au niveau vaisselle et ustensiles (sauf couteau bien coupant), jeux de société et pour enfants, etc. Lieu calme et à proximité de plusieurs attractions, dont Beynac (essayer les gabares!) et le château de Castelnaud (must pour une visite en famille). Une bonne boulangerie tout près sur la route de Beynac (les gourmandises de Lucco) et une super boucherie/traiteur à côté sur la même route. Le village de Saint-Cyprien à quelques minutes est charmant et à tout ce qu’il faut: épicerie, boutique, autre très bonne boulangerie et le marché du mercredi à faire absolument!! Bref, nous y retournerons assurément, un coup de cœur! |
| It is in a lovely location and the views from all parts of the garden and by the pool are great. It was the perfect place for our family to get together providing plenty of opportunities to relax. Really good local market in St Cyprien on a Saturday, definitely worth a visit. Lots of other things to do and see nearby as well. Great communication throughout, check in and out really easy. thanks for a great stay. |

La cuisine est très bien équipée, si vous ne trouvez pas ce dont vous avez besoin c'est que vous n'avez pas bien cherché ! Et la vue est simplement... exceptionnelle! |

| A beautiful and characterful house with stunning views of the river and valley of the Dordogne. The pool is wonderful, really big, we had a great time playing in it. The courtyard is beautiful for eating outside. There is lots of room, the beds are comfortable and it was an easy home to be in for a relaxing holiday. Lots to do within a short distance but quiet location in the village. Highly recommended. |

| Our family of five loved the place. It would comfortably hold two or three families. Fantastic place, great location, plenty of space, very secluded. Close to Beynac and other towns. The pool was awesome. Very clean and the hosts were great. |
