Charming duplex with large balcony, situated on the first floor of the Hostellerie du Présidial, a remarkable 17th century building, in the heart of the medieval town of Sarlat.
Nestled in the heart of the medieval town of Sarlat, in a pedestrian street where the architectural elements of the middle ages and the renaissance abound, the Gite of the Présidial offers a quality and characterful accommodation for 4 guests.
Situated on the first and second floors of the Hostellerie du Présidial, you benefit from a large balcony, a rare privilege in the medieval town!
The superb living room, of over 40m² offers:
- an elegant sitting area where the sofa, armchairs and coffee table are set around the magnificent 17th century fireplace.
- a dining area with wooden table and four chairs
- a beautiful open plan kitchen with a bar, superbly equipped.
The fabulous stone balcony, running the length of the room, also has a table and chairs and is the ideal spot for dining outside or for appreciating an aperitive after your daily excursions to the numerous attractions in the neighbourhood.
A wooden staircase leads to the top floor of the Hostellerie du Présidial, where you will find two romantic bedrooms, each with its bathroom:
- a first bedroom with a large double bed of 160cm wide, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, and its private shower room with walk in shower, vanity unit and toilet.
- the second bedroom with a 140cm wide double bed also offering its private shower room, again with walk in shower, basin and toilet.
Particularly comfortable, the appartment stays cool in summer, thanks to its thick stone walls, and cosy in winter thanks to an efficent gas central heating system.
Unlimited internet access.

| The apartment is larger than I thought it would be. It was a perfect size for two couples traveling together. It had absolutely everything we needed. We could not ever find a better location than this. I would absolutely recommend this apartment and hope to stay there again. |
| This is a great choice w/2 bdrm & 2/ba. right in the medieval pedestrian only center of town. On street and lot parking are just around the corner. Tucked in a small street it is very quiet. Great bedding and spacious baths. As usual, it’s one flight above street level. Bdrms are upstairs once on the unit. We managed both stairs easily and are late 70s. I would return to stay anytime! |

| Charmant appartement au coeur de Sarlat, dans une rue typique de la ville. L'appartement est très propre et très bien équipé. Idéalement placé pour visiter la ville et profiter de la vie nocturne sans contrainte. La proximité des parkings est également un vrai avantage. Les hôtes mettent à notre disposition un "guide" vraiment très complet et très utile. Le balcon, certes étroit, reste tout de même très agréable. A noter toutefois que la vie en centre ville apporte son lot de "bruit de ville" (tard le soir et tôt le matin en pleine saison) qu'il faut savoir accepter en toute connaissance de cause ! Je recommande cet appartement. |
| Beaucoup de charme pour cet appartement, qui prolongera agréablement vos soirées passées à Sarlat! Propre, bien situé sur une petite rue pas trop passante, et donc peu bruyante, nous avons apprécié le petit balcon pour nos déjeuners. Nous recommandons chaleureusement ! |

| Très bel hébergement aux abords immédiats du centre historique de Sarlat. Parfaitement équipé. Literie au Top. L’absence de climatisation ne nous a pas gêné. Malgré la chaleur, le bâtiment reste agréable à vivre. Très belle réactivité en cas de questions. Les informations fournies par les hôtes étaient très précises et nous ont été fort utiles notamment au niveau des bons plans pour stationner et pour acheter des produits de qualité sur place en évitant les pièges à Touristes. |

| Nous avons passé trois superbes journées dans l’appartement qui est vraiment très joli, propre et agréable pour un séjour en famille. Les deux chambres sont à l’étage et ont chacune une salle de bain. C’était bien pratique à 4. La cuisine est parfaitement équipée. L’appartement est situé en plein centre de Sarlat dans une veille ruelle typique et avec un balcon très charmant. Un parfait point de chute pour découvrir le Périgord Noir, Sarlat, ses nombreux restaurants et spectacles de rue en plein été. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir. |
| This is my second stay at Melanie's apartment. It is a beautiful place with charm and character; The kitchen is well equipped and the tow full bathrooms are updated-The best of both worlds. The location is fantastic. Close to everything but on a quiet street so you can keep the windows open. Highly recommend this flat in Sarlat. |
