Guestbook

What can I say about this wonderful house in the heart of the medieval village of Limeuil? Just beautiful! Marc and Ophelia were lovely hosts and welcomed us in. They live next door and were very helpful should you need anything. The house is very well stocked with lovely art work dotted around. The grounds are huge with a private pool and it is so peaceful. Only local residents (and visitors) can use the roads so the only passing traffic during the day are humans walking around this ancient village. It’s a great base for visiting the Perigord area and just a couple of miles from Le Bugue. It’s strange but you almost get a humble sense of pride that you are able to stay in such an ancient house in an ancient village. In summary a beautiful house, perfect hosts (that you hardly ever see), wonderful setting and very very relaxing! You do need a car! Nearest supplies are Le Bugue but there are 4 decent restaurants close by in walking distance.
The location and view were exceptional. So much to do in the area. So much to see. Such a peaceful village, close by the river and everything in the center

Limeuil is a beautiful village and the petite maison is the perfect place to stay. Lots of space both inside and out that is well furnished in a comfortable and comforting manner. Lots of art (mainly by the owner Ophelia) and other interesting things around. You feel like you’re staying in someone’s well loved and cared for house (because you are). Mark and Ophelia are great hosts with lots of help and advice. Probably our best ever Airbnb experience - and we’ve had plenty over the last 10 years of travelling in Europe.
Super séjour à Limeuil, maison très bien située dans le village, magnifique jardin, et gîte bien équipé. nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
Perfect holiday

We loved this house. Beautiful, great location, exceptionally well equipped and lovely welcoming hosts!
Just as good the second time around

This is a charming property in a good location in a beautiful village. This was our second visit and we were just as pleased with our stay as before. The owners are helpful.
A lovely place to stay.
This is a lovely old house in a lovely old village. The house has all the up to date features that make it easy to stay in. A particularly nice feature is the outdoor terrace with a view of the surrounding countryside.
Nette Gastgeber und ein Haus mit allen Komfort. Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen.
