We stayed at Sabine‘s townhouse in Sarlat for close to a month in May 2024. The house is one of the original buildings from the town and has beautiful exposed rock walls and a very comfortable and charming feeling. Although the house is old, the bathrooms and kitchen are completely updated and the showers and hot water were really good particularly after a long day of sightseeing. We used the house as a base to drive around the entire region of Périgord. While the house is great to use as a base for regional exploration, the house itself was charming and is 100 m away from the main square Sarlat you will find cafes, restaurants, and stores. On some days we drove around to Chateaus and Lacsaux IV and on other days, we just relaxed in the house and in its surroundings. Highly recommended!
