We loved our stay at Au Coeur de Domme. You are literally in the heart of the village as the name says but have total privacy in the gorgeous outdoor area where you can relax, enjoy a glass of the local wines or have breakfast/dinner (the BBQ was a nice addition) The house is large and spacious and tastefully decorated and would easily accommodate 4 adults but we loved having the extra space with just the 2 of us! It was particularly hot during our stay and we were glad to have the option of sleeping downstairs which was much cooler. Domme is a gem of a village and is a peaceful haven after all the day trippers have gone. Everything is an easy stroll away - lots of great restaurants and don't miss the weekly market on Thursdays. A perfect base for exploring this area of Dordogne. The private car parking space right at the door is fantastic given how popular Domme is with visitors. Leif was a pleasure to communicate with - always helpful and nothing is too much trouble. She also provided lots of great information and tips for enjoying the local area before our trip. Highly recommend this gite - you will not regret a stay here! but be warned - you may not want to leave.
